Gently — песня группы Slipknot. Одна из первых песен написанных группой. Была написана ещё в 1992 году, до официального появления группы. Первую версию песни можно услышать на записи Basement Sessions. В обновленной и улучшенной версии вошла на дебютный демоальбом группы Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat. в 1996 году. Затем снова в новой изменённой версий песня вышла на втором альбоме группы Iowa в 2001 году. Также песню можно услышать на DVD Disasterpieces.

Интерпретация текста

По словам автора текста Андерса Кользефини эта песня про переход в тьму или мир духов, где человек ощущает себя защищённым от внешних воздействий и невзгод.
