Компания

LG Air Conditioners and Energy (кондиционеры и энергосберегающие продукты) – одно из подразделений компании LG Electronics, специализирующееся на производстве и продаже систем кондиционирования и очистки воздуха как для частного, так и для промышленного применения.

Подразделение также занимается производством энергосберегающих продуктов: солнечные батареи и системы освещения, «умные» термостаты, а также системы управления отоплением.

Производство первых кондиционеров LG было открыто в 1968 году, когда компания еще носила имя Gold Star. В дальнейшем некоторые продукты развивались при поддержке специалистов корпорации General Electric.

Первоначально подразделение по производству кондиционеров входило в состав LG Digital Appliance. В 2009 году оно было выделено в самостоятельную единицу LG Air Conditioning. В компании были назначены шесть региональных руководителей для Европы, стран СНГ, Ближнего Востока, Азии, Центральной и Южной Америки и Китая.

Коммерческие кондиционеры

Используют озонобезопасные фреоны R410A. Содержат систему очистки воздуха (Plasma).

В линейке коммерческих кондиционеров LG представлены:

  • Полупромышленные кондиционеры[1] (кассетные, канальные, напольно-потолочные, потолочные, колонные, крышные)
  • Мульти сплит-системы[2]
  • Мультизональные системы кондиционирования[3] (наружные и внутренние)
  • Чиллеры[4] (винтовые, абсорбционные, центробежные, спиральные)

В 2011 году в состав LG Electronics вошла часть корпорации LS Mtron[5], специализирующаяся на производстве холодильных машин.

Достижения

В 2011 году на выставке AHR Expo в Лас-Вегасе наградой в категории систем обогрева была отмечена технология V2 Injection™ компании LG Electronics. Данная технология используется в тепловых насосах «воздух-вода».
