LAN's Airbus A320 fleet is undergoing an interior conversion that will include the elimination of a dedicated
business class section and the introduction of leather seats ineconomy class . To cater to business class travelers, the middle seats in the forward economy class section will be closed off, resulting in a 2x2 seating configuration (according to the amount of business class travelers on a particular flight).LAN's Boeing 767 fleet is undergoing a similar interior conversion that will include the elimination of first class, the introduction of lie-flat seats in a rebranded "Premium Business Class", and an updated
in-flight entertainment system that includes larger private video monitors and a greater audio/visual selection.Fact|date=June 2007References
