People's Party of Galicia

The People's Party of Galicia (Spanish and Galician: "Partido Popular de Galicia") is a large liberal-conservative political party in Galicia, Spain.

It is part of the People's Party (Spain)

It had been successful in office for about 15 years. In 2005 Galician elections, the PPdG won but did not get the absolute majority (only by one deputy). The other two parties with deputies (PSOE and BNG) made a coalition to govern.
