Richard L. Wolffe (born 17 September 1968) is a journalist, political analyst, and senior White House correspondent for "Newsweek" magazine, and "MSNBC News".

Biography

Born in in Birmingham, England, Wolffe is a 1992 graduate of Oxford University, "summa cum laude", in English and French.

Prior to his appointment at "Newsweek", Wolffe was deputy bureau chief and U.S. diplomatic correspondent in Washington D.C. for the Financial Times. Currently, Wolffe is an MSNBC political analyst, and appears frequently on Countdown with Keith Olbermann. He has previously appeared regularly on CNN and Fox News, as well as international media including the BBC and CBC. He was prominently featured in the 2002 HBO documentary movie "Journeys With George".

Wolfe co-authored a Spanish cookbook, "Tapas: A Taste of Spain in America" 2005 by Clarkson Potter in the US and Planeta in Spain. He has also written for food magazines such as "Food Arts" and "Food & Wine".

Personal life

Wolffe lives in Washington DC with his wife, Paula Cuello, and daughter, Ilana.
