"Kaiyuan Za Bao", or "Kaiyuan Chao Pao", "Bulletin of the Court" [Wen zong chu ban she, Hongkong. 中國的智慧 =: The wisdom of China : (中英文對照) / 香港文宗出版社編譯. [1953] (1953). Digitized from University of Michigan May 17, 2006.] , was one of the world's first newspapers. It was first published in the 8th century, during the Kaiyuan era. Printing

Printing of privately-published newspapers in China would not be established until the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644).
