List of military aircraft of Norway

The Royal Norwegian Air Force was established in 1944 with the amalgamation of the Royal Norwegian Navy Air Service and the Norwegian Army Air Service both of which were established in 1912. Below is a list of planes used by the Norwegian Air Forces through their history. It is worth noting that the majority of planes before 1940 were built in Norway while the majority of planes used after 1940 were built either in the United Kingdom or the United States.

* M.F. 11 Built in Norway by Marinens Flyvebaatfabrikk. Also operated by Finland after three Norwegian M.F. 11s that had escaped to Salmijärvi Lake in Petsamo at the close of the Norwegian campaign.
