Slamannan

Slamannan (Scottish Gaelic: "Sliabh Mhanainn", slope of the Manau tribe) is a village in the Falkirk Council area in central Scotland.

Notable residents

Former Everton footballer, Alex "Sandy" Young was born in Slamannan, and spent his youth years playing for Slamannan Juniors.
