João Carlos, Prince of Beira

Infante João Carlos of Portugal, Prince of Brazil (or of Braganza; pron. IPA2|ʒu'ɐ̃ũ 'kaɾluʃ; English: "John Charles") (Rio de Janeiro, Colonial Brazil, 6 March 1821 – Rio de Janeiro, Colonial Brazil, 4 February 1822) was a Portuguese infante son of heir to the throne Pedro, Prince of Brazil (future Emperor Pedro I of Brazil) and Maria Leopoldina of Austria.
