Todd Creek is a census-designated place (CDP) in Adams County, Colorado, USA. The population was 1,299 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Todd Creek is located at coor dms|39|58|53|N|104|52|10|W|city (39.981415, -104.869423)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 11.7 square miles (30.2 km²), of which, 11.6 square miles (29.9 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (1.03%) is water.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 1,299 people, 441 households, and 381 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 112.5 people per square mile (43.4/km²). There were 464 housing units at an average density of 40.2/sq mi (15.5/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 93.92% White, 0.77% African American, 0.08% Native American, 0.77% Asian, 0.08% Pacific Islander, 3.16% from other races, and 1.23% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 7.16% of the population.

There were 441 households out of which 39.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 81.2% were married couples living together, 2.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 13.6% were non-families. 7.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.95 and the average family size was 3.13.

In the CDP the population was spread out with 26.6% under the age of 18, 5.1% from 18 to 24, 33.8% from 25 to 44, 29.0% from 45 to 64, and 5.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 103.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 105.8 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $83,676, and the median income for a family was $90,310. Males had a median income of $56,063 versus $35,524 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $35,792. About 3.5% of families and 4.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 4.1% of those under age 18 and 13.6% of those age 65 or over.
