Bletchley Centre

Bletchley Centre

The Bletchley Leisure Centre is an indoor leisure facility in Milton Keynes, England. The 907-seat capacity sports hall is the home of professional basketball club Milton Keynes Lions, who compete in the top-tier British Basketball League. The Bletchley Centre has been home to the Lions basketball team since 1998, when the Hemel Hempstead Royals later watford royals relocated. The building dates back to the early 1980's and despite many facelifts is showing its age.

There is currently a new lesiure centre and multi story carpark under construction next door and when complete in 2009-2001 the current leisure centre will be demolished and converted into housing. However some protesters are trying to get the iconic pyramid building that houses the swimming pool listed to prevent this.

The Milton Keynes Lions plan to move into , a new 4,500-seat arena at the site in Denbigh, Milton Keynes, before the start of the 2008-2009 season.
