A Tribe of Toffs were a Novelty pop band from Sunderland in the UK. They are best remembered for their single "John Kettley is a Weatherman" which peaked at #21 in the UK Singles Chart in 1988.

The John Kettley in question is a cult BBC weather forecaster - famous for his absurd hair.
