Connecticut's 4th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Connecticut. Located in the southwestern part of the state, the district is largely suburban and consists of Bridgeport, the largest city in the state, and Stamford.

The district is currently represented by Democrat Jim Himes, who defeated Republican Chris Shays in 2008, who had held the seat since 1987. From 2007 until 2009, the 4th Congressional District was the only district in New England to be represented by a Republican.

The 4th Congressional District includes most of Fairfield County and the town of Oxford in southwestern Connecticut. The biggest cities in the District are Bridgeport and Stamford.

Cities and towns in the District include Bridgeport, Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, Monroe, New Canaan, Norwalk, Oxford, Redding, Ridgefield, Shelton (part), Stamford, Trumbull, Weston, Westport, and Wilton.
