2003 Football League Cup Final

The 2003 Worthington Cup Final was played between Liverpool and Manchester United at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on Sunday, 2 March 2003. Liverpool won the match 2–0.

Liverpool opened the scoring with a goal from Steven Gerrard in the 39th minute. In the second half, Michael Owen scored a second in the 86th minute.
