Jan Daszewski

Jan Kazimierz Daszewski (April 5, 1916; missing April 4, 1942 above the English Channel).

Daszewski was a fighter ace of the Polish Air Force in World War II. Foster child of the "School of Eaglets" in Dęblin. Participant of the September, 1939 campaign in Poland, and of the French campaign. 2 August 1940 became the pilot of battalion 303. He described his achievements Arches Fiedler in the book "Battalion 303". With Jan Zumbach, Mirosław Ferić and with Witold Łokuciewski created famous "four of musketeers", the team of Polish pilots fighting in the Battle of Britain.
