Pearse Museum

Pearse Museum

The Pearse Museum ( _ga. Músaem na bPiarsach) is dedicated to the memory of Patrick Pearse, educationalist and nationalist who was executed for his part in the 1916 Rising. It is situated in the suburb of Rathfarnham on the south side of Dublin, Ireland. It was formerly the home of Pearse's experimental school, St. Enda's, and now contains an exhibition on his life and ideas and a nature study room with examples of Irish plants and animals.

The museum is an 18th century house situated in scenic parkland.

The museum closed for renovations in May 2006. It is due to re-open in November 2008.
