Jefferson Lines and Jefferson Tours are operated by Jefferson Partners L.P., a Minneapolis, Minnesota based family company with roots extending to the early days of motorcoach travel.

Jefferson operates a fleet of modern coaches in passenger and express scheduled service as well as charter and tour services. Jefferson routes extend from Minneapolis to Dallas, serving eleven states in the heartland of America and the province of Manitoba, Canada. Jefferson's charter operation is located in Minneapolis, MN, offering motor coach charters, group tours and convention services in the upper Midwest.

Management resides with the third generation of the Zelle family to actively participate in the Jefferson story. Founded in 1919, Jefferson was named after the Jefferson Highway, which ran from Winnipeg to New Orleans. One of the pioneers of the motorcoach industry, Jefferson has a rich history of civic and philanthropic involvements in the communities it serves.

Jefferson Lines employs 265 people, of whom approximately 150 are drivers. Jefferson Lines is a member of the American Bus Association, United Motorcoach Association, National Tour Association, and many other local visitor associations and chambers of commerce.

Jefferson Lines was founded in 1919 and today is owned by Jefferson Partners LP.
