Saka is an extinct Iranian language which was spoken in Xinjiang, China. There are two known dialects, identified with the cities of Khotan and Tumxuk. Many Prakrit terms were borrowed from the Khotan dialect of Saka into the Tocharian languages. [Litvinsky 1999: 432]
