Hay House is a New Thought and Self-help publisher. It was founded in 1987 by author Louise Hay,[3] when she self-published her books Heal Your Body and You Can Heal Your Life.[1][4] Hay House publishes books, audio, and video in the areas such as Self-Help, New Thought, Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology, Alternative Health, Men's/Women's Issues, Food and Nutrition, Finance, Environmental Issues, Education, Business, Astrology and New Age.[3][4] Hay House Inc. includes the imprints New Beginnings Press, Princess Books, and Smiley Books.[5]

In March 2005, Hay House launched an internet radio station,[3][6] HayHouse Radio Network, broadcasts hour-long weekly radio shows by prominent Hay House authors.[7]

Hay House has its headquarters in Carlsbad, California, U.S., and international divisions in the United Kingdom,[8] Australia,[9] India.[10] and South Africa.[3][11]

As of 2007, Hay House has published over 300 books and 450 audios from 130 authors.[4]
