The Washington Marine Group provides a wide range of marine related services to the Pacific Northwest. Within the Group are three shipyards, an intermodal ferry business, and a tug and barge transportation company that serves both domestic and international markets. "Marine Transportation"

Seaspan International Ltd.Beginning as a small coastal company, in 1898, servicing BC's coastal communities, Seaspan International Ltd., has evolved into a prominent marine transportation company serving the West Coast of North America. In addition to marine transportation, Seaspan also provides shipdocking services to the Port of Vancouver, Victoria Esquimalt and other BC out ports.

Seaspan Coastal Intermodal CompanySeaspan Coastal Intermodal Company is a commercial roll on - roll off ferry service providing regularly scheduled transportation between British Columbia's Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island's Nanaimo and Swartz Bay terminals. Based in Delta, Seaspan Coastal Intermodal transports truck trailers, containers, and railcars on self-propelled ferries and integrated tug-barge units.

"Shipyards"

Convenient to Pacific Northwest shipping lanes, Washington Marine Group Shipyards are an important resource for the region's marine industry. The Group's operations consist of three shipyards that are all currently certified to ISO 9001:2000 for quality, OHSAS 18001 for safety and ISO 14001 for environmental standards.

Vancouver Drydock Company Ltd.Conveniently located in Vancouver Harbour, Vancouver Drydock operates two floating drydocks with lifting capacities of 36,000 tonnes in a Panamax beam dock, and 30,000 tonnes in a self contained deployable dock.

Vancouver Shipyards Co. Ltd.Vancouver Shipyards has forged a solid reputation for the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of all types of vessels. The yard's facilities include a major steel forming shop, a large fabrication and assembly hall, a totally enclosed paint facility, and a SyncroLift capable of lifting vessels up to 1200 tonnes.

Victoria Shipyards Co. Ltd.Utilizing the Esquimalt Graving Dock, owned and operated by Public Works and Government Services of Canada, Victoria Shipyards can drydock and repair vessels up to 100,000 DWT. Victoria Shipyards can perform a wide range of repairs up to and including complete vessel conversions.

"Other Services"

McKay Creek Technologies Ltd.McKay Creek Technologies licenses a patented process for the treatment of industrial wastewater. The process, known as "electrocoagulation", can remove a wide range of contaminants from industrial wastewater.

Marine Petrobulk Ltd.For over a quarter of a century, Marine Petrobulk has supplied all grades of bunker fuels to vessels entering the ports of Vancouver, New Westminster, Victoria, Prince Rupert, Kitimat and Nanaimo.
