The third Van Agt cabinet (1982) was a minority coalition between the Christian-democrats, CDA and liberals, D66. The aim of this rump cabinet was to be a caretaker cabinet until the elections of 1983. The labour party, PvdA did not become a part of this cabinet after the fall of the previous cabinet.
