Nava Bharat (in Hindi नवभारत)(Translation: New India) is a Hindi language daily newspaper published from Bhopal, Indore, Nagpur, Raipur, Pune and Nasik. This Nava Bharat (Madhya Pradesh/Chhattisgarh) has a 6th highest readership according to IRS 2009 R1 in India in Hindi newspapers. [1]

History

Navabharat was founded by Late Shri. Ramgopal Maheshwariji in 1937 in Orange city Nagpur. Shri. Ramgopal Maheshwariji was a freedom fighter, a journalist by profession, a philosopher by thinking, a man of society.

Nava Bharat split into two groups early in 2000. The Nagpur-based group is referred to as Nava Bharat (Maharashtra and the Bhopal-based group as Nava Bharat (Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh).

Nava Bharat (Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh) publishes the Bhopal, Indore and Raipur editions in M.P and Chhattisgarh, as well as the Maharashtra editions, besides the English daily, Central Chronicle from Jabalpur.

Nava Bharat (Madhya Pradesh) brings out the six editions, Bhopal edition and five more editions in Madhya Pradesh - Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Chhindwara and Satna. It also publishes the Central Chronicle from Bhopal.

As per the IRS 2009 R1, Nava Bharat (Madhya Pradesh/Chhattisgarh) has a total readership of 44.77 lakh; while Nava Bharat (Maharashtra) has a total readership of 22.36 lakh.
