David Krackhardt

David Krackhardt

David Krackhardt is Professor of Organizations at the Heinz College, the Tepper School of Business, and the Department of Social and Decision Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States.[1] He is notable for being the author of KrackPlot, a network visualization software designed for social network analysis which is widely used in academic research.[2]

Krackhardt received a BS degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD from the University of California, Irvine. He was born in Belin, Massachusetts in 1950. He currently lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, Sharon, and three children, Stephen, Katherine, and Daniel.
