Countess Friederike Amalie of Schlieben[1] (German: Friederike Amalie Gräfin von Schlieben; 28 February 1757  – 17 December 1827)[1] was a member of the noble House of Schlieben and a Countess of Schlieben. Through her marriage to Friedrich Karl Ludwig, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck, Friederike was also a member of the House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck and Duchess consort of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck (9 March 1780 – 25 March 1816).

Early life

Friederike [2] was born in Königsberg, East Prussia, Kingdom of Prussia and was the second and youngest daughter of Count Charles Leopold von Schlieben and his wife Countess Marie Eleanore of Lehndorff.[1]

Marriage and issue

Friederike married Friedrich Karl Ludwig, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck, son of Prince Karl Anton August of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck and his wife Countess Frederica of Dohna-Schlobitten, on 9 March 1780 in Königsberg.[1] Friederike and Friedrich Karl Ludwig had three children:[1]
