Garth D. Everett is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 84th District and was elected in 2006.

Career

Everett served for 20 years in the United States Air Force as a navigator on KC-135 refueling aircraft with. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel and was admitted to law school.

After law school, Everett joined a law firm in Muncy Township working as a solicitor for several municipalities in Lycoming County.

Everett ran in 2006 to replace retiring Rep. Brett Feese and defeated Democrat Thomas Paternostro in the general election. He has no Democratic opponent in 2008.

Rep. Everett sits on the House Aging and Older Adult Services, Environmental Resources and Energy, Game & Fisheries, and Urban Affairs Committees.

Personal

Everett attended Penn State University on an U.S. Air Force ROTC Scholarship and graduated in 1976 with a degree in business management. Everett also has a law degree from The Dickinson School of Law at Penn State University.
