South Wharf is a small inner suburb of Melbourne, Australia, in the state of Victoria. Its Local Government Area is the City of Melbourne.

South Wharf is located on the southern bank of the Yarra River, bounded by Clarendon Street, Normanby Road, the West Gate Freeway and Docklands Highway. Gazetted in 2008, [cite web | url=http://www.gazette.vic.gov.au/Gazettes2008/GG2008G002.pdf | title=Victoria Government Gazette No. G2 Thursday 10 January 2008 | pages=p.72 | accessdate=2008-08-28] the suburb occupies an area that was previously a part of Southbank.

The suburb contains the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, the Melbourne Maritime Museum including the "Polly Woodside", and the development site for the new Convention Centre.
