Not only are the commercials considered entertaining but they serve as somewhat of a history lesson of the sport.

The series has proved extremely popular with television viewers and followers of Australian Rules Football, with a ninth installment created during the 2008 football season.

Each installment is themed around qualities associated with the highlight that is featured and that Toyota appears to associate with itself. eg. Power, Genius, Courage.

Brereton was involved in an incident where Geelong's Mark Yeates lined the Hawk star up at a centre bounce and applied a vicious shirtfront. Severely winded and concussed, he was attended to by trainers then began to vomit before jogging back into the play. Only minutes later in the game, he marked and kicked an inspirational goal. He would finish with three goals in a game that Hawthorn would win by six points.

The commercial features Dave Lawson acting the role of Mark Yeates but instead uses a large plank of wood to apply the hard hit on Brereton. Dermott then regathers himself and spits out a mouthful of canned food to simulate the vomiting, which he experienced in the matched being re-enacted.
