Whitney is a township in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. It is designated as Township 5 Range 1 of the North of Bingham's Penobscot Purchase. The population was 0 at the 2000 census

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the location has a total area of 18.4 square miles (47.6 km²), of which, 11.7 square miles (30.4 km²) of it is land and 6.6 square miles (17.1 km²) of it (36.04%) is water.
